NMSU Round Up

Krysta Quinonez
Krysta Quinonez is a Las Cruces local who is entering her senior year at New Mexico State University. She is a graduate from Las Cruces High School where she earned two state championship titles. She intends to walk, but will more than likely stumble, across the stage this May to receive a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy. Krysta aspires to be a sports psychologist upon graduation. She is new to The Round Up family and will act as a staff writer this school year. Krysta is a baseball fanatic who roots for the Boston Red Sox and anyone playing against the New York Yankees. Krysta graces life with an optimistic perspective and a can-do attitude. When she’s having a bad day, she tends to gravitate towards coffee, old black and white films or chocolate cake. She is a firm believer in equality, mental health and the magic of shooting stars. When she’s not writing or attending class, she spends her time reading or laughing with her friends. Krysta loves her family and dedicates all accomplishments, big and small, to her parents who have never let her give up on herself or her wildest ambitions.
