Jenni Hazlett, Multimedia Specialist
Jenni Hazlett is a senior at New Mexico State University, where she is double majoring in Journalism and Media Studies and History with minors in Social Media Management and Sports Marketing. This is Jenni’s first year with The Round Up.
Born and raised in Fountain, Colorado, Jenni loves the outdoors. Both her parents were teachers, encouraging her love for learning. Jenni has one older brother, who also attended NMSU.
When she started school, Jenni was unsure of what she wanted to study, but after taking a few journalism classes, she quickly fell in love with it. Jenni has participated as a reporter and anchor for KRWG News22 and a photographer for NMSU Documentary Shooters. Most recently, Jenni is a photographer for NMSU Athletics, where her favorite sport to cover is football.
Jenni interned with FOX21 in 2023 and USA Ultimate in 2024. She really enjoyed working in the sports industry and hopes to do so in the future.
In her free time, Jenni enjoys hiking, reading, exploring new coffee shops, attending concerts, rock climbing, and napping. She loves spending time with her friends and traveling. Jenni is excited to start her new role as a multimedia specialist this year!
