Karla Hernandez Chew, Multimedia Editor
Karla Hernandez Chew is a second-year digital film student at NMSU. She was born in El Paso, Texas and raised in both El Paso and Ciudad Juárez, Mexico.
Karla is passionate about post-production in filmmaking, especially editing and sound design. Through her time at The Round Up she continues to grow her skills and loves to expand her knowledge of digital media and storytelling.
Karla is thrilled at the opportunity to lead such a talented and passionate team and she hopes that they can learn a thing or two from her.
Beyond film, Karla enjoys spending time with family, friends and her cat lluvia. She loves music, whether it be listening, creating, or performing with her band. She plays the bass and piano and sings in the choir.
