Rachel Baggett a junior majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Linguistics. She was born in Georgia, but her family moved to Carlsbad, NM in 2009 and she graduated from Carlsbad High School.  

Rachel loves working with children, reading and hiking. She also has a very strong appreciation for great puns and jokes. Rachel is excited for her first year as a staff writer at The Round Up and hopes to take the skills she learns with her when she is one day a high school English teacher.
