Paola is entering her sophomore year at NMSU, majoring in Journalism and Media Studies with a focus in social media marketing. Having spent most of her life in El Paso, Texas, though attending high school in Hobbs, New Mexico, Paola finds NMSU the perfect choice due to its proximity to her closest loved ones in El Paso and Mexico.

From a young age, Paola has had a passion for photography, always feeling she had a natural eye for it and looking forward to expanding her skills. She loves all things vintage — whether movies, songs, traditions, or collecting old furniture and artifacts. Alongside her creative interests, she has a deep love for sports, whether shooting them through her lens or watching the game unfold.

Her curiosity for the world extends beyond photography, as she loves to travel, meet new people, and embark on new experiences. She hopes to carry her studies on by pursuing a master’s degree in Strategic Communications.
