NMSU PD receives bike theft report, asks for assistance in identifying suspects
The New Mexico State University Police Department sent an email yesterday afternoon stating that they received a report that several male subjects were “using bolt cutters in an attempt to steal bicycles from one or more bike racks in the residential areas of the NMSU Main Campus.”
When NMSU PD arrived, the suspects were no longer in the area, but several bike locks appeared to be damaged.
NMSU PD is seeking assistance in identifying the subjects. Photos of the suspects from security footage were attached to the email. Anyone who knows their identities or sees them on campus is urged to contact the NMSU PD immediately at (575) 646-3311.
