Aggie Carnival is an opportunity for students to join organizations and build new friendships.

New Mexico State University will be hosting Aggie Carnival on August 19, and is seeking registered student organizations to encourage students to get involved with our great university!

Aggie Carnival is an annual event hosted by NMSU aimed at new and returning students to provide opportunities for them to dive into life as an Aggie.

Hunter Graham, a student on the Aggie Carnival committee, says Aggie Carnival is instrumental for first-year students as well as students returning to campus.

“With Aggie Carnival, this is going to be a way for incoming and current students to interact with each other and learn more about what NMSU has to offer even if we are doing it virtually,” Graham said. “The Aggie Carnival Committee has been working hard to ensure that there is going to be representation of organizations that will fit most students’ interests who are looking to get involved in the fall semester.”

The event is normally held at the Corbett Center Outdoor Stage in the evening during the first few weeks of school, with many passionate organization representatives eager to recruit new members.

“Students can expect to meet students who are ready to get involved and not only meet new people, but to also gain long lasting friendships that will impact others for years to come,” Graham said.
