Corey Preston, Photojournalism Intern
Corey Preston is a junior at NMSU studying Journalism and Media Studies with a minor in Marketing. He originally studied Political Science and Spanish at UNM but is proud to finally graduate as an Aggie!
Corey grew up between El Paso, Texas and Santa Fe, New Mexico; his home is anywhere along the Rio Grande with a view of the mountains. He makes upcycled art, is learning to salsa, and hangs out with his family’s 14 dogs in his spare time. Passionate about learning, he hopes to use journalism to make New Mexico a better informed and connected place.
He hopes to gain experience using creativity as a force for good at The Round Up.
