COVID-19 Updates: March 31, 2020
Here’s what you need to know today according to the New Mexico Department of Health, the Office of Michelle Lujan Grisham and NMSU officials.
Around the State
- Cases have risen to 315 according to today’s report. Total tests administered are at 13,240.
- NM DOH announced that there are 26 cases designated as recovered as of today.
- Two deaths have been reported by the NM DOH. The newest death involves a male in his 80s in Bernalillo County with multiple chronic underlying health conditions. The individual died Friday, March 27.
- The cases are located in Bernalillo County (129), Chaves County (10), Cibola County (2), Curry County (3), Dona Ana County (18), Eddy County (4), Lea County (2), McKinley County (16), Rio Arriba County (4), Roosevelt County (1), Sandoval County (29), San Juan County (32), San Miguel County (1), Santa Fe County (42), Socorro County (3), Taos County (11), Torrance County (3), Valencia County (5).
- Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham held a press update with health officials regarding the responses to the COVID-19 pandemic this afternoon.

- NMSU has created an emergency health fund for students and an emergency student housing fund in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
