Around the State
- Positive cases have risen to 1,245 around the state. Total tests administered are recorded at 30,515.
- Total deaths have reached 26, with 6 new deaths reported on April 12, 2020.
- Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced Saturday that places of worship are now included in the mass gatherings ban.
Around NMSU
- According to a press release, the Engineering Department at NMSU is manufacturing personal protective equipment for medical workers around the Las Cruces area.
- ASNMSU moved voting online to the Presence platform due to COVID-19.
- According to communication sent out by Chancellor Dan Arvizu, the state is looking to implement a laboratory testing facility capable of processing COVID-19 tests on the NMSU campus.
