Here are the most important things you need to know today according to the Office of Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, the New Mexico Department of Health and New Mexico State University Officials. 

Around the state

  • The total number of cases has risen to 1,346 around the state. Total tests administered throughout the state have reached 31,970. 
  • The NM death toll is currently at 31, with five new deaths related to COVID-19 reported Monday
  • According to NM DOH, there are currently 87 hospitalizations.
  • 304 NM residents have recovered, as reported by NM DOH
  • The Office of Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and the NM DOH launched a information portal, found here

Around NMSU

  • In Dona Ana County, there are 51 total recorded positive cases of COVID-19. There have been 2,511 total tests administered for the area and one reported death. 
  • The first death recorded for Dona Ana county was a male in his 50s who was hospitalized. 
  • NMSU Rec Sports launched AggieFit classes via Zoom.
