Christopher Renteria, Multimedia Specialist
Christopher Renteria is a transfer student from El Paso, a sophomore majoring in Journalism & Media Studies. He will be starting his first year at The Round Up as a photographer looking for knowledge and experience from his staff on growing his photography skills. Chris plans on taking plenty of stunning photos for The Round Up and supporting them and will one day travel around the world meeting lots of people.
Throughout his journey, he will stumble upon unique places where he will take remarkable photos. His passion for music has taught him get out of his comfort zone since Chris loves to take pictures of local musicians from El Paso and other artists that visit when they are on tour. His favorite artist enjoys listening to Harry Styles, The Neighborhood, The 1975, and Nirvana. Photojournalists like Eugene Smith, Dorothea Lange, etc., would spread their creativity through a lens showing the world what they see. This inspired him to pick up a camera to capture unforgettable moments. He will be learning a lot in The Round Up & will continue to grow.
