Adrian Villegas, Multimedia Specialist
Adrian Villegas is a second year student at New Mexico State University and is currently in his second semester with The Round Up, where he serves as a multimedia specialist. He is pursuing degrees in Journalism and Media Studies as well as Kinesiology Exercise Science two areas he is deeply passionate about.
During his time at Centennial High School, Adrian was an active member of the media team, where he had the opportunity to document multiple state championship wins. Those experiences solidified his love for storytelling through the lens and capturing meaningful moments behind the camera.
Since childhood, Adrian has envisioned himself working as a reporter in New York City, and he views his work with The Round Up as an important step toward turning that dream into reality.
Outside of journalism, Adrian previously cheered with the NMSU Large Coed team and still enjoys tumbling whenever he gets the chance. Above all, he is passionate about creating and sharing stories that connect with people, and he is excited to continue growing both personally and professionally during his time at NMSU.
