Jianna Vasquez, Managing Editor
Jianna Celeste Vasquez is a journalism major and managing editor at the Round Up. She has been writing for the Round Up for three semesters. Vasquez began as an intern and was brought on to the Round Up team as the Cultural Editor in the spring semester of 2016, where she was later promoted to managing editor.
As managing editor, her role at the Round Up is to make sure that all the news and information being put out is accurate and beneficial to the NMSU campus.
She has recently completed an internship with Arizona Foothill Magazine, a luxury lifestyle magazine located in Phoenix, Arizona. An accomplishment that has taught her so much and has been a stepping stone in her writing career.
Writing is something that has always been a passion for Vasquez, and being able to purse a degree in the journalism field has been a remarkable path that she will always be grateful for.
