Xavier Dominguez, Managing Editor
Xavier Dominguez is entering his second year at The Round Up and his first year as Managing Editor. He is a sophomore majoring in Journalism and Mass Communications at New Mexico State University. He is looking forward to helping keep the NMSU community and students informed on big stories and leave his mark at The Round Up.
Dominguez considers his biggest journalistic accomplishments by being Student Journalists of the Year by PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs. Also, helping produce a story on Vote16DC, a youth coalition trying to lower the voting age in Washington D.C. that was featured on TeenVogue.
Dominguez is excited to see what NMSU can offer to further his goals. He loves to watch all shows, but specifically Big Brother, Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy.
