Claire Quintana, Political Writer
Claire Quintana is the political writer, starting her first year with The Round Up. She is a freshman and is studying journalism with a minor in education. She is from El Paso, Texas, where she has lived her entire life.
Claire first discovered journalism during high school, where her journalism teacher Sabrina Rodriguez helped her to unlock her passion for journalism and uncovering the truth. Before that, she had been writing for practically her whole life, and it is her dream to one day write and publish her own novel. Claire is also an avid Christian and volunteers with her old youth group from her home church twice a month.
Some of her hobbies are music, reading, writing, and dancing. She loves to spend time with her family and her boyfriend whenever she’s home and loves a good cup of coffee. Claire hopes to use her writing and ideas to contribute to The Round Up and continue to make it better with her fellow coworkers.
