Trent Nickell, Sports Writer
Trent Nickell is a junior at New Mexico State University and in his first year at The Round Up. He is currently studying Communication Studies and is loving it. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Trent was homeschooled and had a huge passion for sports. Realizing how big sports are to him, he wants to pursue a career of covering sports in any aspect. The dream job would be ESPN, having his own talk show.
In his free time, Trent enjoys playing sports with friends, watching anything related to sports, and jamming out to go music! For him, being given this opportunity to work for The Round Up seems like a door opening on the right path for the future. He is anxious and excited to advance his writing and reporting skills.
