Claire Zuloaga, Managing Editor
Claire Zuloaga is entering her third year with The Round Up as the Managing Editor. She is in her senior year, studying Journalism & Media Studies with minors in creative writing and social media marketing. She is originally from El Paso, Texas, where she was born and raised.
Claire first discovered journalism during high school, where her former teacher helped her unlock her passion for journalism and uncovering the truth. Before that, she had been writing for her whole life, and it is one of her biggest dreams to write and publish her own novel. Claire also works as the Communications Director/Youth Ministry Assistant at her church in El Paso, where she is able to practice journalism skills and other interests.
Some of her hobbies are music, reading, writing, and video making. She loves to spend time with her family, friends, and husband and loves a good cup of coffee. Claire hopes to contribute a lasting impact on TRU as she enters her last year of college.
